Help your members to pay their pension some attention

This year’s Pay Your Pension Some Attention campaign is fronted by Ross Kemp. The campaign draws parallels between physical and financial fitness, encouraging everyone to take three simple steps to strengthen their pension:

  • Stretch your mind – Track down any lost pensions from previous jobs. Visit Gov.UK to get started.
  • Check your form – Log into their pension accounts and use tools like Money Helper’s Pension Calculator. This will help to see if they’re on track for the retirement they want.
  • Work out your future – Use the Retirement Living Standards to picture the lifestyle they’re aiming for and how much income they’ll need to support it.

Their 2025 pension statement is ready

Their Local Government Pension Scheme statement for 2025 is now available in their online pension account. So once they’ve an idea of how much they should be saving, they can check their statement to see if they’re saving enough.

They’ll find their statement under the ‘Pension Benefits’ section of their dashboard. There’s guidance notes available to help them interpret the figures.

If they’d like to pay more into their pension, they can review their options on our website. They can also find some helpful videos and guides.

Not registered for an online pension account yet?

If they don’t already have a pension account, they can register here by entering their surname, National Insurance Number, date of birth, email address, and pressing ‘sign up’.

With their online pension account, they can:

  • update their address and nominate someone for the lump sum death grant
  • see how much their pension might be if they take it earlier or later than their normal pension age
  • look at their options for exchanging some of their pension for a larger lump sum
  • see their pension statements and any letters from us.

If they need help signing up, they can visit our support page.
